Location: Private Members’ Club, London (WC2E)
Salary: £45,000 - £46,500
Please note: No sponsorship visa is available for this role.
⏰ Work Schedule:
• Monday to Friday – 7 AM to 3 PM
👉Nearest Tube Stations:
• Covent Garden (Piccadilly Line) – 3 min walk
• Leicester Square (Northern & Piccadilly Lines) – 5 min walk

👉About the Role:
As Head Housekeeper, you will be responsible for overseeing the housekeeping team and ensuring the club’s 17 en-suite bedrooms and facilities are impeccably clean and maintained to the highest standard. You will manage, motivate, and mentor a team of four housekeepers, upholding the club’s impeccable image through meticulous attention to detail in cleanliness and presentation.
👉Key Responsibilities:
• Lead, manage, and motivate a team of 4 housekeepers to deliver top-tier standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of 17 en-suite bedrooms and public areas.
• Regularly inspect areas to ensure cleanliness and report any maintenance needs.
• Manage stock levels of cleaning supplies, linens, and Member amenities.
• Respond to Member requests discreetly and professionally.
• Enforce health & safety standards and oversee safe storage and usage of chemicals.
• Supervise laundry and staff uniform cleaning.
👉What They’re Looking For:
• Proven experience managing a housekeeping team in a luxury hospitality setting (Private Members’ Club experience is a plus).
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Discreet, professional, and a great communicator.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, safety regulations, and health & safety.

About the Role
As a Hall Porter/Concierge, you will be the first point of contact for members and guests, ensuring a warm welcome and seamless experience. You’ll provide top-tier service, assist with luggage, manage security at the entrance, and oversee general front-of-house duties.
Key Responsibilities
✔ Member & Guest Services
• Greet and assist members and guests with warmth and professionalism
• Handle queries, arrange transport, and provide information on Club facilities
• Assist with luggage, check-ins, and check-outs to 5-star standards
✔ Front Desk & Concierge Duties
• Answer calls, manage bookings, and liaise with relevant departments
• Sort and distribute mail, handle small deliveries for members
• Maintain stock levels for member amenities
✔ Security & Safety
• Provide door security, ensuring the safety of members and staff
• Be vigilant and proactive in maintaining security protocols
• Manage fire safety procedures and report any incidents promptly
✔ Housekeeping & Presentation
• Maintain cleanliness of the Porter’s Lodge, entrance, and reading room
• Ensure newspapers and reading materials are neatly arranged
• Polish brass fittings and keep public areas in pristine condition
Who We’re Looking For
✅ Experience & Skills:
• 5+ years’ experience as a Concierge or Hall Porter (Private Members’ Club experience is a plus)
• Strong background in front-of-house, security, and guest services
• Fire Marshal training & Health & Safety Level 2 (preferred)
• Excellent communication, professional telephone manner, and impeccable presentation
• Confident with emails, Word, Excel, and Outlook

• Discreet, composed, and professional under pressure
• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to excellence
• A great sense of humor and an interest in theatre would be a bonus!
